Anderson in fitness race for Swindon

Swindon are sweating on the fitness of forward Keshi Anderson ahead of the Sky Bet League Two clash with Newport at the County Ground.
Anderson lasted just 15 minutes of last weekend’s win at Cambridge before being replaced by Kaiyne Woolery after suffering a hamstring injury.
Manager Richie Wellens will make a late decision on the winger after training on Friday but is boosted by the news that scans on a knee injury picked up by Woolery in the same game have come back positive.
Mathieu Baudry could return from an ankle injury after missing out at the Abbey Stadium, but midfielder Jordan Lyden remains sidelined with a thigh injury.
Newport expect Jamille Matt and Corey Whitely to recover from minor knocks picked up in last week’s game with leaders Exeter.
Tristan Abrahams came off the bench to score in that 1-1 draw and might be rewarded for his impressive second-half show with a starting spot.
Defender Ryan Inniss serves the fourth game of a five-game ban, and Exiles manager Michael Flynn could again plump for a back-three of Kyle Howkins, Scot Bennett and Mark O’Brien.
Ade Aziz (Achilles) and Mickey Demetriou (broken leg) remain long-term casualties, although there was some good news on the latter this week with the defender’s recovery reported to be ahead of schedule and a late-November return targeted.
