Iker Casillas hints at football return just months after suffering heart attack
The former Real Madrid goalkeeper shared the results of a scan from his latest training session

Spanish goalie Iker Casillas has hinted at a stunning return to football, just months after he underwent life-saving surgery following a heart attack .
Casillas, 38, posted a picture of the scan results from his latest training session, showing he covered 9,258m over 42 minutes.
The 'keeper was rushed to hospital in May following a health scare, with many assuming his career was over for good .
But, denying claims he would have to retire, Casillas took up a backroom staff role at Porto , where he had been playing since 2015.
Sharing the picture of his impressive training session results, the World Cup-winning keeper wrote in the caption: "Everything is going slow, but that is the way it should be.

"Keeping calm and making progress little by little.
"Every barrier has to be torn down. There are no obstacles. Your mind must be clean.
"I do not want to be an example of anything. Let's keep on with the fight!"
After rumours swirled about Casillas' retirement, Porto made a statement of intent by registering Casillas in their league squad for this season.

Spanish media reported that he will undergo definitive medical exams in December which could see him back on the pitch.
It would mark an incredible turnaround for Casillas, who also suffered the shock of wife Sara Carbonero revealing her battle with ovarian cancer just three weeks after his heart attack.
The Spanish TV journalist had surgery to remove a malignant tumour, which was fortunately confirmed to have been "a success without incident".
Casillas married Sara, 35, in 2015, and the couple have two sons, Martin and Lucas.

In a remarkable career, Casillas made 510 appearances for Real Madrid between 1999 and 2015.
He won five La Liga titles, three Champions Leagues, two Copa del Reys, four Spanish Supercups, two UEFA Super Cups and one FIFA Club World Cup.
In 167 appearances for Spain, he won the 2010 World Cup, as well as the Euro 2008 and 2012 tournaments.
Since joining Porto in 2015 he has made 116 appearances, winning one Portuguese league title, and one equivalent of the Community Shield.
