Ajose expected to miss out as league leaders Exeter host Port Vale

Striker Nicky Ajose will remain sidelined as unbeaten Exeter prepare to take on Port Vale on Tuesday.
Manager Matt Taylor confirmed the summer signing had damage to the knee and could need surgery.
Ajose picked up the injury in training last week and missed the Grecians’ 2-2 draw with Leyton Orient on Saturday.
Nigel Atangana also joined the club in the summer and has yet to make his debut after suffering an Achilles injury this year, but could be set to appear in the next couple of weeks.
Port Vale are likely to be without Tom Conlan as they travel to take on the league leaders.
Conlon injured his knee during his side’s 1-0 win over Plymouth and had to be substituted after 24 minutes.
Also in the match, David Amoo and Callum Evans were forced off with hamstring problems inside the first half and all are expected to miss out on Tuesday.
Replacements Jake Taylor and Rhys Browne were used as replacements and could be set for their first league starts for Vale against Exeter.
