Barnet extended their unbeaten run to five games with a 1-0 Vanarama National League victory over Maidenhead.
Simeon Akinola saw goalkeeper Taye Ashby-Hammond keep out his header from Wes Fonguck’s cross as Barnet enjoyed the better of the first-half opportunities.
They did eventually break the deadlock after 66 minutes when Charlee Adams burst forward and tried his luck from distance. His shot was parried by Ashby-Hammond but the rebound fell for Josh Walker to turn the ball into the back of the net.
Maidenhead came back in search of an equaliser and James Akintunde saw one effort deflected behind for a corner.
Ephron Mason-Clark then nearly made it two but his curled effort drifted narrowly wide as the Bees held on the secure victory.
