Finnish striker Marcus Forss could be the key to a change in fortunes for Wimbledon, who host Shrewsbury having not yet won a League One game this season.
Wally Downes’ side signed Forss on a season-long loan from Brentford earlier this month and the 20-year-old promptly scored on his debut, a 2-1 defeat at MK Dons.
Forss is expected to make his first home appearance against Shrewsbury, as is Irish defender Ryan Delaney.
Delaney was brought in on a loan deal from Rochdale to replace Rod McDonald, who will be out for another eight to 10 weeks with a knee injury.
Sam Ricketts’ Shrewsbury could also hand debuts to new signings as they travel to Kingsmeadow.
Striker Callum Lang could partake having joined the club at the beginning of September, leaving Championship side Wigan on a season-long loan.
Scottish forward Jason Cummings could feature too, having also recently signed from Nottingham Forest.
