James Dobson’s second-half penalty helped Dagenham extend their unbeaten National League run to six games as they won 1-0 at Maidenhead.
The summer signing from Sutton grabbed his first goal for the club from the spot two minutes after the break with Ryan Upward having been penalised for handball.
Earlier, Angelo Balanta rolled a shot wide before Emmanuel Onariase hit a post as Dagenham dominated.
Shamir Fenelon then wasted a glorious chance for Maidenhead when he fired over Jake Cassidy’s cross and later had a shot cleared off the line.
Luke Croll’s effort was deflected on to the bar for Dagenham while Maidenhead were indebted to keeper Taye Ashby-Hammond, who pulled off two superb saves to deny Balanta.
