Arsenal boss Unai Emery made an ambitious move for Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Junior over the summer.

The Gunners were keen to hand the Brazilian a way out of the Bernabeu - but were immediately shut down.

According to UOL Sport, Emery tried his luck with an ambitious attempt to land the teenage forward.

But Los Blancos are determined to hold on to the player they paid Flamengo £38million for, making him one of the world's most expensive teenagers.
