The drama continues

The soap opera being played out between Inter and Mauro Icardi has entered a new series in recent days, with the striker now planning to sue the Serie A club.
Giuseppe Marotta, Inter's CEO, recently spoke of his hope that the Argentine striker's situation would be resolved and, at the same time, denied the claims of Icardi's wife and agent, Wanda Nara, that the player would continue with the club.
Icardi, as a result, has decided to take matters into his own hands, as he is set to take legal action against Inter.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the player has asked to be readmitted to the squad, as he has been working separately from the main group, and to be compensated with no less than one and a half million euros in compensation for damages.
The striker had concrete offers from Napoli and Monaco but rejected them both, despite the fact that the clubs had agreed fees with Inter.
As time ticks on towards the transfer deadline, it appears as though Icardi is not willing to go down without a fight.
