Oxford will be without on-loan striker Matty Taylor for their Sky Bet League One clash with Coventry.
Taylor limped off against Bristol Rovers last weekend after suffering a groin injury which manager Karl Robinson says will keep the 29-year-old sidelined for between four to eight weeks.
Robinson is also expected to be without Cameron Brannagan, who picked up a groin injury of his own in the 3-1 defeat at the Memorial Stadium.
New signing Dan Agyei could make his U’s debut this weekend after injury.
Coventry boss Mark Robins could be without Brandon Mason for the trip to the Kassam Stadium.
Mason was taken off at half-time during Tuesday’s 3-0 Carabao Cup defeat at Watford with a hamstring problem and it remains to be seen when he will be fit to return.
Fellow defender Junior Brown, whose last appearance for City came in March, will not be available after joining Scunthorpe on loan until January.
Josh Pask, meanwhile, is expected to remain sidelined for some time yet.
