Ogbene in line for Rotherham debut

Chiedozie Ogbene could make his Rotherham debut against Tranmere after signing on Thursday from Championship side Brentford.
The Millers could also debut Northern Irish defender Adam Thompson, who joined the club on Tuesday from the now-defunct League One club Bury.
The arrival of the centre-back creates competition for defensive places, with Rotherham boss Paul Warne now able to choose between Thompson, Richard Wood, Clark Robertson and Michael Ihiekwe.
Fellow defenders Billy Jones and Trevor Clarke missed the Carabao Cup defeat to Sheffield Wednesday but Matt Olosunde returned from an Achilles injury.
Tranmere boss Micky Mellon, on the other hand, will send a depleted side to the New York Stadium.
Midfield duo Corey Blackett-Taylor and Ollie Banks are unavailable as they both serve suspensions having been dismissed against Bristol Rovers.
The club has also confirmed that striker Morgan Ferrier will be sidelined for eight weeks with a knee injury.
Mellon’s lengthy injury list extends to include defenders Jake Caprice, Mark Ellis and Evan Gumbs plus striker Ishmael Miller.
