Wigan forward Moore hoping to shake off knock

Wigan forward Kieffer Moore will hope to recover in time from a knock to face Barnsley, who he left earlier this month to move to the DW Stadium.
Moore missed Saturday’s 3-1 loss at QPR alongside Anthony Pilkington (quad), Josh Windass (calf), Tom Pearce (back) and Joe Gelhardt (hamstring).
The 27-year-old has stepped up his recovery following a calf injury and could go up against his old club this weekend in the Sky Bet Championship.
Joe Garner was back for the game at QPR after a rib injury and Wigan will look to end a run of five straight defeats in all competitions.
Barnsley will hand a debut to summer signing Brad Collins on Saturday after first-choice goalkeeper Sami Radlinger suffered a knee ligament injury in the weekend loss at home to Luton.
Defender Bambo Diaby is also expected to be absent after he picked up a knock last time out and he will not return until after the international break.
Kenny Dougall remains another long-term absentee after he broke his leg in March, but the news on Cauley Woodrow (calf), Jordan Williams and Jacob Brown is better.
All three are progressing well, although will sit out Saturday’s match at Wigan with the aim of returning for the home game with Leeds on Sunday, September 15.
