Sterling could be given chance against Lincoln

Doncaster manager Darren Moore could change his attacking line-up for the home game against Lincoln.

With Alfie May and Niall Ennis both yet to score so far this season, Moore might give a chance to Kazaiah Sterling.

The Rovers boss is still looking to sign a proven striker to replace John Marquis, who left to join Sky Bet League One rivals Portsmouth last month, but it seems unlikely anything will happen before the weekend.

Moore was dealt a blow this week with the news that Joe Wright has suffered a minor setback in his recovery from a knee injury, so the centre-half is set to remain on the sidelines a little longer.

Lincoln boss Danny Cowley could name an unchanged side despite seeing the Imps lose their perfect start to the season in midweek.

The 2-1 defeat at MK Dons on Tuesday halted a four-match winning run in all competitions, but Cowley still took plenty of positives from the game.

Lee Frecklington and Tom Pett are both yet to feature this season but are making good progress and should be available in around two or three weeks, according to Cowley.

Frecklington is recovering from a groin injury, while Pett has had knee and back issues.
