Cook likely to make changes as Wigan take on Leeds

Wigan boss Paul Cook is expected to alter his starting line-up again for the home game against Leeds.

Cook made 10 changes for the midweek Carabao Cup defeat to Stoke when defenders Dujon Sterling and Charlie Mulgrew, plus forward Bright Enobakhare made their first appearances for the club.

Midfielder Joe Williams and winger Jamal Lowe were handed their first starts against Stoke, while Gavin Massey featured following summer surgery.

The likes of goalkeeper David Marshall, Michael Jacobs, Josh Windass and Lee Evans will all be hoping to return.

Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa has no new injury worries after making seven changes for his side’s midweek Carabao Cup win at Salford.

Bielsa must decide whether to hand Arsenal loanee Eddie Nketiah his league debut and also retain Helder Costa, who made his first start on Tuesday night.

The Whites are expected to revert back to a similar line-up which started in last week’s home draw against Nottingham Forest, with skipper Liam Cooper and Pablo Hernandez likely to return.

Forward Tyler Roberts and defender Luke Ayling remain sidelined, the latter following ankle surgery.
