No Premier League transfer for Coutinho, but Barcelona still hope to move him

Philippe Coutinho hasn't returned to the Premier League, with the Brazilian remaining a Barcelona player at the close of the English top division's transfer window on Thursday evening.
Blaugrana directors realised a few days before deadline day that it wasn't going to be possible to move the player to the Premier League.
However, there is still some hope that the 27-year-old could leave the Camp Nou this summer.
There aren't as many options now that the Premier League clubs can't sign any more players, but he could still join PSG or one of the top Italian or German sides.
Nothing is being ruled out, but Barcelona directors are willing to keep him if no good offers materialise as they'd rather see him stay than sell him in an unfavourable deal.
Coutinho is currently with Barcelona on their US tour, although he didn't feature in their first friendly against Napoli.
