Liverpool's Harvey Elliott apologies for his comments about Tottenham's Harry Kane

Last week, Harvey Elliott joined Liverpool from Fulham.

The 16-year-old made Premier League history last season when he became the league's youngest-ever debutant.

However, just days after his switch to Anfield, Harvey Elliott has attracted attention for the wrong reasons.

Following the 2019 Champions League final, the youngster posted an offensive video about Tottenham's Harry Kane on SnapChat.

That video has resurfaced this week on social media, which has forced Elliott to apologise.

What Harvey Elliott said

The new Liverpool midfielder wrote the following on Instagram:

I would just like to wholeheartedly apologise for any offence caused on the back of a video of me currently circulating on the internet.

The contents of the video do not represent who I am as a person or how I've been brought up, and I am truly sorry.
