Morgyn Neill scores at both ends as Morton ease to big win over Dumbarton

Morgyn Neill scored for both sides as Morton were big winners against Dumbarton in Betfred Cup Group E.
Neill opened the scoring with an own goal and also got his side’s consolation in the 6-1 defeat which also saw Peter Grant, Kyle Jacobs, Lewis Strapp, Josh Sutton and Bob McHugh net for the home side.
In the other Group E game, Queen of the South picked up a bonus point for a 5-4 penalty shootout win over Annan after the game was level at 3-3 during normal time.
Kenny Miller scored for Partick Thistle in their 2-1 win at Queen’s Park in Group F and Declan McManus scored the only goal in Falkirk’s home victory over Stranraer in Group G.
In Group A, Dundee United won 2-1 at Stenhousemuir, Elgin won their Group C penalty shootout 6-5 at Alloa following a 3-3 draw.
Peterhead won their penalty shootout 11-10 against Inverness after their Group D encounter had ended goalless.
