BARCELONA have announced the signing of Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid - but fans want Neymar.

Barcelona have today announced the arrival of Griezmann, with the striker leaving Atletico Madrid for the Nou Camp in a massive £108million transfer.

"FC Barcelona has paid the 120 million euro buyout clause to release Antoine Griezmann from Atlético Madrid," they revealed on their official website.

"The player will sign a contract with his new club for the next five seasons, through to 30 June 2024, with a buyout clause of 800 million euros.

"We will shortly be publishing the full schedule for the presentation of Antoine Griezmann as a new member of the Barca first team."

However, despite only just landing Griezmann, Barcelona fans are calling for Neymar to arrive.

The PSG star wants to leave the Parc des Princes to join Griezmann, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez in attack next season.

“ANNOUNCE NEYMAR NOW!!!!!” said one fan.

A second echoed his thoughts by saying: “ANNOUNCE NEYMAR! @FCBarcelona.”

“NOW NEYMAR AND WE WILL WIN THE TREBLE AGAIN,” said an enthusiastic third supporter.

“Now @neymarjr Admin,” another said.

“ANNOUNCE NEYMAR NEXT,” chipped in with a fifth supporter.

And a sixth said: “Next @Neymarjr.”

Meanwhile, Barcelona legend Xavi opened up on both Neymar and Griezmann in an interview with Marca on Friday.

"He would be an incredible signing," the Spain international said when asked about Neymar.

”But I see it as being difficult, honestly. I think it's very difficult.

"We have seen so many things that I thought I'd never see though, such as PSG paying 222 million euros, so we'll have to wait.

"There's no doubt that he's one of the best players in the world, but let's see what Barcelona do."

On Griezmann he added: "He's a great player, a world star.

"He made a difference with Atletico Madrid and with France. He's an extraordinary player.

"It's still not official, but it seems like he's going to Barcelona. I think it'll be a great signing."
