Official: Denis Suarez signs for Celta Vigo

Denis Suarez has returned home after completing his switch from Barcelona to Celta Vigo on Sunday night.

The playmaker grew up near Vigo and played for Celta's academy until he joined Manchester City at the age of 16.

Denis has signed a four-year deal at Balaidos, with Celta paying 12.9 million euros to Barcelona as well as 3.1 million euros in variables.

The Spaniard was barely used by Ernesto Valverde during the first half of the 2018/19 season and spent the second half of the campaign warming the bench during a loan spell at Arsenal.
