REAL MADRID are returning to their model of signing one galactico every year and plan to sign Kylian Mbappe next summer, according to reports.

The 20-year-old shocked Paris Saint-Germain last month after admitting his future could lie somewhere else - putting Los Blancos on red alert.

Zinedine Zidane's side have already unveiled former Chelsea star Eden Hazard after the Galacticos forked out £130m to the Blues.

Mbappe has been targeted as the next marquee man to make the switch to the Bernabeu but Madrid need the unsettled striker to hand in a transfer request first, according to AS.

Club president Florentino Perez is reportedly mindful of not damaging relations between the two clubs by launching an aggressive play for the Frenchman.

Instead, he hopes the former Monaco star will refuse to renew his contract with PSG and express his desire to join the Spanish giants.

50,000 Madristas are already desperate for the La Liga side to sign Mbappe after they chanted the star's name during Hazard's official presentation.

REAL PROBLEM

It comes amid claims that Real are ready to pounce fo his PSG team-mate Neymar this summer as Zidane eyes a massive squad overhaul.

Coach Thomas Tuchel recently revealed that he couldn't guarantee either player staying at Parc des Princes beyond the summer following reports the pair have fallen out.

Speaking of his future after being named as the Ligue 1 Player of the Year, Mbappe said: "It's very important moment for me, I come to a turning point in my career.

"I have discovered a lot here, and I feel it is perhaps the moment to have more responsibility.

"I hope that can maybe be at Paris Saint-Germain, that would be a great pleasure, or perhaps elsewhere with a new project."

Real could potentially have an entirely new front line for the start of next season after announcing the signing of Luka Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt.

And it has been reported that Madrid will offer Manchester United Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez and Keylor Navas for midfielder Paul Pogba.

SunSport exclusively revealed that they are also chasing Christian Eriksen but Spurs want a deal that would see Marco Asensio move the other way.
