The Serie A giants are interested in re-signing their former midfielder this summer.

And a move to Turin would spell the second time in Pogba's career that he swaps the Red Devils for the Old Lady.

But the expectations of a transfer materialising appear low in Manchester.

Manchester United are remaining adamant they do not want to lose the French superstar amid Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's overhaul.

Pogba remains an integral part of the side and one of the club's prised assets.

As a result, they have put a price-tag of more than £150m on his shoulders.

And The Times say United do not believe Juventus can afford a fee that substantial.

The speculation surrounding Pogba comes as:

· Man Utd are handed a boost by PSG opening talks over a Real Madrid star

· Daniel James undergoes his medical at Carrington

· Alexis Sanchez is offered a three-year contract by a La Liga club

Real Madrid are also in the hunt for Pogba but have now agreed a £130m deal for Chelsea winger Eden Hazard and spent around £53m on striker Luka Jovic this week.

The Spanish giants have forked out on other priorities in their own summer overhaul.

Pogba would be more of a priority for Juventus if he became available, but such a huge fee would ward them off.

United spent a club-record £89m on Pogba to bring him back to Manchester in 2016.

He has two years left to run on his contract, meaning he is tied down until 2021, with the option for a further 12 months too.

For him to head back to Juventus this summer, the Serie A champions would need to break their own transfer record.

And it would see them spend at least an extra £60m than what they sold him for three years ago.
