Barcelona want to keep Valverde

Barcelona have decided to stick with Ernesto Valverde for next season.
The Catalan side's board have come to this decision after analysing the coach's position in the last few days.
Barcelona's directors have confidence in Valverde to repeat the success he has achieved in his reign so far, winning two LaLiga Santander titles and a Copa del Rey.
President Josep Maria Bartomeu has constantly reiterated his support for the current Blaugrana boss, despite the debacle at Anfield and the Copa del Rey final defeat to Valencia.
"This defeat isn't the coach's fault," Bartomeu said after Saturday's loss in Seville.
"I want to point out the value of someone who is, in a discrete way, helping our team. I'm talking about Ernesto Valverde, who we trust completely."
Valverde's backing from the players has also proved crucial, with Lionel Messi, Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba and Ivan Rakitic expressing their willingness for him to stay.
