REAL MADRID manager Zinedine Zidane is confident Paul Pogba can be signed from Manchester United.

But that is only if the Red Devils show they are open to offers for their record signing.

The midfielder, who rejoined United from Juventus for ï¿¡89m in 2016, is seen as the complete package by Zidane.

Pogba is prepared to quit Old Trafford for a second time and head for the Bernabeu this summer.

The France international would subsequently team up with compatriot Zidane in Madrid.

However, United could prove difficult to negotiate with as they will not let Pogba go on the cheap.

Real are already set to spend around a combined ï¿¡150m on Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic and Chelsea winger Eden Hazard.

Zidane, though, has a huge budget to play with as he overhauls Real’s squad after a miserable season.

With regards to Pogba, Bleacher Report say the manager has privately admitted he is optimistic a deal can be struck.

Real will wait to see if United are prepared to do business over 26-year-old Pogba, who earns ï¿¡290,000-a-week in Manchester.

He came under intense criticism from fans at Old Trafford at the conclusion of United’s final day 2-0 defeat to relegated Cardiff.

Pogba was confronted by angry supporters who he listened to before departing down the tunnel, potentially for the last time.

The box-to-box midfielder has often struggled to replicate his form for France in a United shirt.

And he could be moved on ahead of the 2019/20 season if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who wants young and hungry players in his team, decides Pogba is not an important enough part of his plans.

It has previously been exposed how the World Cup winner was desperate to leave United earlier this season while Jose Mourinho was still at the helm.

His sacking helped settle Pogba, but his future has since come under question again with United having missed out on Champions League qualification.
