Liverpool spending spree depends on striker duo
Jurgen Klopp’s summer transfer business at Liverpool will depend on the future of two players, according to club hero John Barnes.
"The summer transfer window for Liverpool will depend on Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi staying,” he told BonusCodeBets.co.uk.
"When you look at Joe Gomez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain returning to the team, they won’t need to bring anyone in.
"It won’t surprise me if Liverpool don’t make a major signing.

Barcelona eye Arsenal star Alexandre Lacazette
Arsenal star Alexandre Lacazette is wanted by Barcelona, according to reports in Spain.
For a long time, their preference has been to land Antoine Griezmann.
Griezmann may be difficult to sign, however, with the Atletico Madrid having a huge £102million buyout clause.
As a result, Mundo Deportivo say Barcelona have Lacazette in their sights amid his fine form for the Gunners.
It is claimed they also have encouragement when it comes to any potential transfer.
Lacazette is represented by the same agent as Eric Abidal, who is a key Barcelona director.

Tottenham transfer business could be ‘painful’
Mauricio Pochettino has admitted Spurs may not spend too much this summer.
The Tottenham boss said: “When you talk about Tottenham, everyone says you have an amazing house but you need to put in the furniture.
"If you want to have a lovely house maybe you need better furniture. And it depends on your budget if you are going to spend money.
"We need to be respectful with teams like Manchester City or Liverpool who spend a lot of money. We are brave, we are clever, we are creative.
"Now it’s about creating another chapter and to have the clear idea of how we are going to build that new project. We need to rebuild. It’s going to be painful.”

Callum Wilson told to join Chelsea
Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson should join Chelsea ahead of Tottenham, claims Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson.
"This lad will have to have a serious think in the summer,” former Arsenal star Merson said.
"This lad, he’s an England centre-forward now, he’s in the England squad, he’s playing every week in the Premier League.
"If he goes to Tottenham, he’s not playing. Full stop.
"He’ll play every now and then when Harry Kane’s not fit, and that means then he’s never playing for England again.
"Now England are going places, we’ve got a chance of winning the European Championships next year, you want to be involved.
"In a year’s time, if people are playing in their team and scoring goals, he’s going to be behind.
"I’d be seriously looking at Chelsea before Tottenham, for him, because he will play at Chelsea.
"He would be the centre-forward [at Chelsea].”

Mesut Ozil on his Arsenal future
Mesut Ozil is happy as an Arsenal player, he has revealed.
Asked if he is happy, he said: "Yes. Why not? I'm 30 now, still got years in front of me, it's down to the club as well of course, but I've got two years here - after that I don't know what happens."
Ozil has also insisted he has no issues with Emery or his selection policy.
"No [issues with Emery]. Definitely not. There's always speculation, everyone inside knew that our situation is positive.
"It's frustrating [not playing]. I want to play in every game. Through injury I've missed games but that's football.
"As a footballer you always want to start games. The coach makes decisions which means you may not start but you have to keep going."

Crystal Palace will only sell Wilfried Zaha OR Aaron Wan-Bissaka at the end of the season.
That means the duo will be fighting to be the first to exit with several clubs interested.
The Times claim Palace have made it clear to both players that only one of them will be allowed to leave..
Zaha revealed last month that he's keen to test himself in the Champions League while Wan-Bissaka has been linked with Manchester United.

Man Utd star Romelu Lukaku wants to leave the club because of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Express Sport understands Serie A giants Inter Milan are eager to snap him up, with the player’s agent doing little to dampen the transfer talk.
And the Manchester Evening News say Lukaku is keen to leave the club when the transfer window reopens.
The Belgium international is said to be unhappy at where he stands under Solskjaer.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists he’ll have the final say on Manchester United’s transfers this summer.
"I’ll have a final say if a player comes in or goes out,” said Solskjaer.

Arsenal hero Charlie Nicholas has revealed he wants Unai Emery to sign PSG's Adrien Rabiot this summer.
"We need a box-to-box style midfield player and a player that can pick a pass too, so it is a matter of bringing in the right ones,” Nicholas said.
"I think you need to know your system, fit them in and see where it takes you.
"Adrien Rabiot will be a free-agent and been linked with different clubs, but I would take him.
"He has the quality and is of decent level, which Arsenal need.”

Man Utd set Pogba asking price
Man Utd have told Real Madrid to pay £160million if they want to sign Paul Pogba in the summer.
The Mail claim agent Mino Raiola has already opened talks with Real and that Pogba himself has told friends he wants out of the club.
It is also claimed United would prefer to keep their star man but they are reportedly open to offers of £160m or more.
That is unlikely to put Real off as Zidane is planning a summer overhaul of his squad after a dreadful season by their own high standards.

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are the only two players in the world who could replace Eden Hazard at Chelsea, former Blues left-back Wayne Bridge claims.
"If Chelsea lose Hazard, I don't know how they could replace him,” he told Goal.
"I couldn't think who they would sign because Hazard is one of the best players in the world.

Man Utd have been backed to swap Paul Pogba for Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale this summer by Liverpool hero Mark Lawrenson.
"In terms of Paul Pogba, I’m just so not convinced,” Lawrenson told the Daily Star. “If you could swap him Gareth Bale, swap him all day.
"I think Bale is a big-game player and will get you loads of goals. He’s also left-sided which is unusual. That might be the way forward.
"I get the impression that all the players like Pogba.
"You can like him or loathe him, but if one week you’re six out of 10 and the next you’re eight out of ten it drives the manager mad.”

Chelsea ready for bid
Chelsea are braced for a £30m bid from Barcelona for Willian this summer.
The Sun say the Spanish giants are desperate to land the Brazil international, who they tried to sign in January.
Willian is out of contract next summer and Chelsea risk losing him for free if they don’t cash in this year.
Willian, 30, has netted eight goals in all competitions this time out.

Arsenal scouting mission
Arsenal are keeping tabs on Lyon’s Moussa Dembele ahead of the summer transfer window.
French newspaper L’Equipe say the Gunners are scouting the striker on a regular basis.
However, they say Arsenal face competition from Manchester United and Atletico Madrid for the 22-year-old.
Dembele has netted 14 times in all competitions for Lyon this season.
