OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER is braced for a summer transfer saga with Paris Saint-Germain over David De Gea.

Manchester United believe the Spanish keeper’s head has been turned by PSG, who will pay the £350,000-a-week wages he cannot land at Old Trafford.

There are fears at United the 28-year-old will get to the French giants when they pile the pressure on with a bid at the end of the season.

De Gea has just one season left on his contract and a £60million offer will ramp up the pressure to accept - or lose him for nothing within a year.

Real Madrid almost signed De Gea four years ago as paperwork was not submitted on time - and Zinedine Zidane now has Thibaut Courtois as his No1.

De Gea has since established himself as United’s key performer in a period where they have struggled to compete for the title.

DIP IN FORM

Earlier in the season he told team-mates he was closer to staying at the club than looking to leave.

But no agreement over a new deal has been thrashed out, leaving the door open for PSG.

De Gea has also been looking for signs of United becoming a team competing for silverware again, which looked positive when Solskjaer first took over from Jose Mourinho in December.

But the form of United and De Gea has dipped dramatically during the last six weeks.

He was at fault for Leroy Sane’s goal in the Manchester derby in midweek and his mistakes against Barcelona in the Champions League were also highlighted.

Meanwhile, Eric Bailly will start Manchester United’s summer clear-out - with a move lined up to Arsenal.

The £30million signing, 25, is set to end his three-year stay at Old Trafford by moving to the Emirates as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer starts rebuilding United’s squad.

Romelu Lukaku has hinted he is off to Italy in the summer, while Inter Milan have also declared an interest in Alexis Sanchez, if he lowers his wage demands.
