Walsall will hope Adam Chambers can make a late return to contribute to their League One survival fight.
The club captain has not played since being substituted at half-time in the season’s opening game but is back in training ahead of Saturday’s crucial clash with Peterborough.
The Saddlers, winless in their last eight games, are second bottom of Sky Bet League One and four points from safety with two games left, meaning they will be relegated if they lose the game.
Caretaker manager Martin O’Connor will definitely be without Kory Roberts (broken leg).
Peterborough could be without defenders Ryan Tafazolli and Ben White after they missed the draw with Sunderland.
Tafazolli is battling a knee problem while loanee White is struggling with an ankle injury.
Posh are still chasing a play-off spot and are three points behind the top six with a game in hand.
A 1-1 draw with Sunderland kept them in the hunt for promotion from League One.
