Yakou Meite is set to make his second Reading start in four days when the Royals face West Brom.
The Ivory Coast forward has hit five goals in five games, including the strike that sealed the 1-1 draw at Bristol City on Good Friday.
Boss Jose Gomes withdrew the 23-year-old just past the hour on Friday, keeping him fresh to face the Baggies.
Liverpool loan midfielder Ovie Ejaria played on through a fever in Bristol, but is expected to be ready to feature again on Monday.
Ahmed Hegazi faces a battle to be fit for West Brom after picking up an ankle problem in Friday’s 3-2 win over Hull.
The Egypt defender was withdrawn just 18 minutes into the Baggies’ entertaining win at The Hawthorns.
Hegazi cut a frustrated figure on his withdrawal and had words with caretaker boss James Shan on the touchline, but apologised to his manager at half-time.
Newcastle loan striker Dwight Gayle will look to add to his 23 goals for the campaign when leading the line again, having bagged a brace on Friday.
