Crawley moved nine points clear of the relegation zone as a second-half volley from Filipe Morais earned a 1-0 win against second-bottom Yeovil.
In a first half of few chances, Crawley started the brighter and went close when Ollie Palmer’s dangerous cross was well cleared by home captain Gary Warren with Panutche Camara ready to capitalise, before Reece Grego-Cox headed into the side netting.
Yeovil came back, with Bevis Mugabi seeing his curling effort comfortably saved by visiting goalkeeper Glenn Morris.
Morris was called into action again, blocking well from Ryan Seager’s close-range shot after he collected a cross from Tristan Abrahams.
Adel Gafaiti headed just wide from an early second-half corner for the home side, before Crawley substitute Ashley Nathaniel-George saw his shot claimed by Nathan Baxter.
Crawley took the lead after 72 minutes, when Morais guided a low volley past Baxter from Palmer’s delivery.
Morris made three late stops, including an impressive double save in added time to secure his side the three points.
