An impressive statistic, showcasing just how decisive Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino has been in Europe over the last two seasons, has emerged online tonight.
Liverpool vs Porto
Jurgen Klop's men welcomed Portuguese giants Porto to Anfield a short time ago, for the first-leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.
Both sides came into proceedings in fine form, with Liverpool having followed their 3-1 defeat of Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in the Champions League's last-16 last month with a trio of domestic wins over the weeks since.
The latest of these came last Friday, when the Reds put Southampton to the sword at St. Mary's to reclaim their place atop the Premier League table.

Porto, meanwhile, had picked up 5 wins from their last 6 outings across all competitions, with the Dragoes sitting joint-top of the Primeira Liga table alongside Benfica as things stand.
Keita & Firmino on target
When all was said and done on Merseyside tonight, though, it was Liverpool who took a step towards the semi-finals of European football's elite club competition.
A stellar first-half showing on the part of the hosts saw Naby Keita open the game's scoring with just 5 minutes on the clock, as the Guinean's deflected effort from the edge of the box found the far corner of Iker Casillas' goal.
And Roberto Firmino went on to double Liverpool's advantage 20 minutes later.
The Brazilian rounded out the night's scoring from close-range, following some superb work down the right between Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold:

Firmino the difference-maker
Along with finding the net, Firmino also bagged the assist for Naby Keita's opener tonight.
And, on the back of his latest classy showing, a hugely-impressive statistic, highlighting just how decisive the Brazilian has been in the Champions League between this season and last, has come to light online:
Roberto Firmino now involved in 21 goals in the Champions League since the start of last season. 13 goals, 8 assists. Only Ronaldo (24) has more. Opta.
