Newport goalkeeper Joe Day made a string of stunning saves to earn his side a point from a 0-0 draw against play-off rivals Swindon.
Swindon forward Keshi Anderson called Newport keeper Day into action twice in an action packed first-half.
First he watched his curling free-kick get palmed away from the top corner before being denied with a low drive after weaving through the defence.
After a promising start, Newport felt the losses of Jamille Matt and Jos Labadie to injury before half-time.
The onslaught continued after half-time as Kyle Bennett clipped a free-kick towards the back post and onto the the head of Dion Conroy, who watched his powerful header get hacked off the line by Micky Demetriou.
The Robins defender got a second bite at the cherry, but Day again reacted from point-blank range to deny his volley from four yards out, and Newport survived to claim an unlikely point.
