Michael Jolley may drop Wes Thomas for Stevenage clash

Grimsby boss Michael Jolley has insisted Wes Thomas is available to face Stevenage following reports of a bust-up between the two, but he could still drop his top-scorer.
Jolley revealed Thomas is yet to commit to signing a new Grimsby contract, so he may turn to the likes of Ahkeem Rose, Charles Vernam and Harry Cardwell in the final weeks of the season.
Rose will not get his chance this weekend due to a hamstring injury, however, while a similar problem has likely ended Ludvig Ohman’s season.
Harry Clifton is doubtful after being forced off at Oldham, while Jordan Cook, Elliot Embleton and Elliott Woodhouse are all out. Defender Alex Whitmore could return following a hip problem.
Stevenage are waiting to see if forwards Danny Newton and Alex Revell will be fit to feature in the match.
Newton made an early return from ankle surgery at Macclesfield on March 23 but then missed last week’s loss to Notts County and is doubtful to play once again.
Manager Dino Maamria was unhappy with his side’s performance in the 3-0 defeat to County and could look to freshen things up.
Jamal Campbell-Ryce remains out with long-term injury.
