Ethan Ebanks-Landell is set to miss Rochdale’s Sky Bet League One clash against Scunthorpe.
The on-loan Wolves defender sustained a thigh injury in training earlier this month and is unlikely to feature.
Midfielder Jordan Williams is available again following a two-match suspension after he amassed 10 yellow cards this season.
Josh Lillis and Rekeil Pyke remain sidelined, while Zach Clough also misses out through injury.
Scunthorpe’s Levi Sutton returns to contention from the groin strain which ruled him out against Portsmouth last weekend.
Striker Kevin Van Veen is suspended for the second game of a two-match ban, while George Thomas and Tom Pearce are away on international duty with Wales and England Under-20s respectively.
Josh Morris and Jordan Clarke are back in training but will not be available for the trip to Spotland.
Ryan Colclough (knee) is out for the remainder of the season while Rory Watson (arm) also looks likely to be out for the rest of the campaign.
