Harry Redknapp EXCLUSIVE: Harry Kane will NOT leave Spurs and West Ham can do better!

TOTTENHAM will manage to KEEP both Mauricio Pochettino and Harry Kane at the club for “years to come”.

That’s according to former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp.

The future of Kane and his manager Mauricio Pochettino has been the subject of speculation for the past few months.

Pochettino was heavily linked with the Manchester United job following Jose Mourinho’s sacking in December.

But interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s form at the Old Trafford may have scuppered executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward’s plans to hire Pochettino.

Harry Kane, who is quickly becoming the greatest goalscorer in Tottenham’s history, could also leave the club in the future if they keep failing to win silverware.

The Englishman has been linked with moves to Real Madrid and Barcelona.

And Redknapp, who was speaking at an event to celebrate former boxer Mark Prince OBE’s investiture for services to tackling knife crime and violence in London, believes both Pochettino and Kane will stay at his former club.

"Tottenham are bang in there still, hopefully they can finish third,” he told Express Sport.

"Oh yeah [Pochettino] will stay with Spurs, he’s at a great big club. New stadium, great players and a great training ground.

"What more could you you want?”

"And Harry Kane. Absolutely, Harry will be at Spurs for years to come, no danger.”

Redknapp also spoke about another former club of his - West Ham - and noted that they should aim to finish seventh this season.

"West Ham have had a good season, I’d like see them finish seventh - they’ve done well," he added.

"The big unsettling thing this season has been [Marko] Arnautovic’s situation and him wanting to move.

"They’ve come back strong now, hopefully they can have a good end to the season.”

Redknapp also stated that there’s no point in Hammers fans losing any sleep over their move to the London Stadium, something that’s been criticised heavily by supporters in the last two years.

"They can’t do anything about Upton Park now, Upton Park is gone, it was a great stadium - they had the chicken run, it was a great place to play,” the former Portsmouth boss said.

"But they need to move on they’ve got a great new stadium now, they’re filling it every week which shows you the support they’ve got.

"That’s their home now they’ve just got to get used to it.”
