Khun Vichai was among five people who died when his helicopter spun out of control and landed in the ground’s car park after a Premier League match against West Ham.

His funeral was held in November, and in keeping with Buddhist beliefs has been in rest for 100 days.

Khun Vichai will now be cremated as part of the final funeral process.

And Leicester players and staff arrived in Thailand today after jetting off from the UK on Wednesday morning.

Rodgers and his stars will then fly back early Saturday morning to prepare for the home clash with Bournemouth a week later.

Other players present included title winners Marc Albrighton, Christian Fuchs, Danny Simpson and Shinji Okazaki.

They were not called up for international duty and were able to attend, with the likes of Kasper Schmeichel missing.

Leicester are 10th in the table with seven games remaining and will be hoping to catch up to the likes of West Ham, Watford and Wolves.
