PAUL POGBA has thrown his Manchester United future into huge doubt after admitting it would be a “dream” to play for Real Madrid under Zinedine Zidane.

World Cup winner Pogba, 26, was linked with a move away from United after his relationship with former boss Jose Mourinho deteriorated in the first half of the season.

But despite his recent revival under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, admitting he would love the Norweigan to remain in his role, Pogba’s eyes appear to be drawn to a Bernabeu switch.

Pogba was speaking during a France press conference ahead of their Euro 2020 Qualifier against Moldova on Friday when he dropped the bombshell.

The former Juventus star said: “Like I’ve always said, Real Madrid is a dream for anyone. It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world.

“There is also [Zinedine] Zidane as a coach and it’s a dream for anybody who likes football.

“For now, I’m at Manchester. We don’t know what the future holds. I’m at Manchester and I’m happy.”

Speaking of Solskjaer, Pogba told Sky: “We want him to stay. The results have been great.

"I have a great relationship with him, he has a great relationship with the players.

“When a player is happy, he wants to keep being happy. Solskjaer deserves it. He knows the club, he knows everything about the club.

"He is a really happy coach that gave confidence back to the players.

“This gave us the freedom to play and enjoy football again because maybe we lost that with the results that we had before.”

Meanwhile, Pogba has shown of the tacky, diamond-encrusted rings he bought for his France pals after their World Cup win last summer.
