Captain Luke Prosser pushing for U’s recall against Forest Green

Colchester captain Luke Prosser will be hoping for a recall when his side host Forest Green in League Two on Tuesday night.
The defender was surprisingly dropped to the bench by manager John McGreal for the 3-0 weekend win over Newport.
Tom Eastman took his place as the U’s won their first game in four to keep their play-off hopes alive.
McGreal will be unable to call on Brandon Comley (knee), Harry Pell (hamstring) or Tom Lapslie (hamstring).
Forest Green can move level on points with their midweek hosts with a win, despite having slipped to ninth following three successive defeats.
Both Dayle Grubb and Shawn McCoulsky recovered from injury to start Saturday’s 3-0 loss at Morecambe but both were later substituted.
The likes of Lewis Scoble and Reece Brown will be hoping to make a push for a starting place having both come on before the hour at the weekend.
Mark Cooper has seen his Rovers side win just one of their last seven league outings and needs to get things back on track to maintain their surprise play-off push.
