Guardiola wants reunion with Thiago
Manchester City are interested in signing Bayern Munich and Spain midfielder Thiago this summer, according to the Mirror.
Thiago joined his current club Bayern Munich in 2013 with Pep Guardiola the man who brought him to Germany.
The Spaniard has now played 181 games across all competitions for Bayern Munich.
In those games, Thiago has scored 28 and assisted 31. He has also scored three and assisted four in 28 games this campaign.
City's current transfer record is the £60m they paid for Riyad Mahrez last summer.
However, the Mirror believe City would have to smash that record to land the Bayern star.

Fernandinho's replacement
Thiago is also said to be seen as a replacement for the 33-year-old Fernandinho.
The Brazilian is currently injured for Man City with a muscle problem, hinting that he is struggling to play so many games.
This is hardly surprising given his age and that City went all the way in the League Cup and are still going strong in their remaining three competitions.
Pep Guardiola also recently confirmed that City are looking to strengthen in three or four areas with one of those believed to be the holding midfielder role.
"There are three or four positions I think we have to try to look for and we have some ideas. I don't know in the end what is going to happen but it is an option, yeah, to buy a left-back." As quoted by Goal.
