Wharton a doubt for Bury

Scott Wharton is a slight concern for Bury ahead of their Sky Bet League Two clash against nearby Oldham.
The on-loan Blackburn defender was withdrawn at half-time in the 1-0 win at Exeter last weekend because of a groin complaint.
Jordan Rossiter was taken off shortly before the end because of cramp and should be fine to feature though fellow midfielder Stephen Dawson (foot) and forward Jermaine Beckford (knee) are set to be absent once again.
The Shakers have not lost so far in 2019, winning eight and drawing twice in all competitions, but with three fixtures in the space of eight days, manager Ryan Lowe could decide to rotate his squad.
Callum Lang and Tom Hamer are both doubtful as Paul Scholes’ Oldham prepare to make the short trip north.
Lang, a 20-year-old striker on loan from Wigan, came off injured during the draw with Crewe last Saturday and was absent for the midweek defeat at home to Morecambe.
Hamer was also a notable absentee against the Shrimps at Boundary Park and Scholes revealed the full-back is “still a bit stiff”.
Dan Gardner (knee) and Ousmane Fane (leg) remain sidelined while recent loan signings Oladapo Afolayan and Alex Iacovitti will be pushing for their Latics debuts.
