Zinedine Zidane reveals his demands to take over at Chelsea- AS

Chelsea's dip in form under Maurizio Sarri

Since Maurizio Sarri took over at Chelsea they have struggled for form and consistency.

Chelsea had spent much of the 2018/19 season in the top four playing pretty well.

However, the last few weeks have begun to show that Sarri is struggling as Chelsea boss.

Despite the arrival of another one of Sarri's former players, Gonzalo Higuain, Chelsea are struggling to adapt to 'Sarri-ball'.

The arrival of Jorginho to help with Maurizio Sarri's style of play has likewise not gone to well with the Italian struggling to adapt to the quickness of the Premier League.

Jorginho's move to Stamford Bridge has also lead to N'Golo Kante playing out of position, in a more attacking role.

Chelsea would suffer their biggest defeat since 1991 recently as they were smashed 6-0 by Man City.

Sarri's side have also lost three of their last five league games.

Zidane open to Chelsea move

All of the above has lead to speculation that Sarri will not be at Chelsea come the start of next season with his odds of staying at Chelsea next campaign less than even.

As a result, several names are being floated around to replace Sarri. One of which is Zinedine Zidane.

According to Spanish outlet AS, the former Real Madrid boss would be open to a Chelsea switch, if several of his demands are met.

One of Zidane's biggest demands is said to be having a transfer budget of around £175m.

Zidane would also reportedly want Eden Hazard to stay at Chelsea. Hazard had previously been linked with a move to Real Madrid when Zidane was in charge.

The Frenchman is further reportedly keen to work closely with Marina Granovskaia, one of the club's directors.
