MANCHESTER UNITED outcast Fred donned Mickey Mouse ears at a Disney-themed party to celebrate his son Benjamin turning one month old.

The Brazilian star is clearly having more fun in Manchester off the field after he and his fiancee Monique Salum became the latest of the Red Devils family to have a baby.

Fred, 25, welcomed his firstborn with a sweet snap on Instagram with the caption: "16/01/2019 in 1:33 was born my greatest treasure!

"When a child is born, born in the heart of parents one love greater than life and more eternal than time!

The latest photo shows a one-month-old Benjamin enjoying a Disney-themed party with his United star dad and brainbox fiancee Salum, both adorned with Mickey Mouse ears.

The couple went public with their relationship in January 2016, when the midfielder was with Shakhtar Donetsk, and they announced their engagement in February last year.

The cute family picture shows Fred, who has played just 126 minutes under interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has not been left downbeat after a rough start to life at Old Trafford.

The midfield star moved to the Premier League from Shakhtar Donetsk in a £52million deal last summer but has barely featured for Solskjaer at United.

But, the Norwegian last month suggested Fred will get his chance, saying: "There's loads of players that have come in and found the first few months difficult.

"He will get chances."

Earlier this season, sacked boss Jose Mourinho revealed Fred wasn't getting his chance as he lacked physicality, despite his superb technique.

Mourinho claimed: "Fred is a technical player. People like [Nemanja] Matic, [Marouane] Fellaini, [Paul] Pogba, even Ander [Herrera] are physical people, strong.

"We think that a player like Fred, and Andreas Pereira, is more technical, they have more quality of passing playing in short spaces and can connect with the attacking players.

"We thought he could be an important player for us but let's wait."
