Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has told Eden Hazard that he should leave the club if he feels he wants to move on.
The Belgian has long been earmarked for a move to Real Madrid, and his future at Stamford Bridge seems unclear with the player dropping hints about his desire to join Los Blancos since the summer.
Hazard is under contract until June 2020, which is likely to force the club into a decision over whether to sell the player in the coming summer transfer window.
Sarri stated that his star man should leave Chelsea if he desires a transfer elsewhere, though insisted he would like to keep him.
"Eden is 28 (years of age). If he wants to go, I think he has to go," the Italian coach said.
"Of course, I hope the opposite, I hope he wants to stay here.
"He has the potential to be the best player in Europe at the moment," Sarri added.
Hazard has scored 13 goals in 29 matches so far this campaign.
