Pay David de Gea whatever he wants! Man Utd fans DEMAND deal for star after Spurs display
Man Utd fans want the club to fork out top money on David de Gea

De Gea is between the sticks for today's match at Wembley and has been in great form.

The Spaniard has kept out everything Spurs have thrown at him in a classy display at Wembley.

De Gea has been at Old Trafford since 2011 but could be on the move soon.

He's contracted to the club for another 18 months but it's unclear whether he'll sign an extension amid interest from Europe's biggest clubs.

And fans want to see United throw whatever it takes financially at their star shot-stopper.

"Give De gea all the f**king money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!," wrote one supporter on Twitter.

"Stop being proud our keeper is our best asset, it's sad. You take Messi from Barca and they're a Spanish Watford, you take Hazard from Chelsea and you have AFC, you take De Gea from United and we're relegated to the championship, pay him his monies," posted another.

Another tweeted: "Make De Gea the highest paid player at the club, it's only right. Without him we're bottom 10 and I'm not too proud to say it."

Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth claimed earlier this month that United chiefs are looking at keeping their players rather than drafting new ones.

"I think priorities, as opposed to bringing players in during January, I think they will want to tie down players like David de Gea and Anthony Martial. Will they want to stay?" he said.

"Solskjaer has already spoken about speaking to those two players and saying he wants them to stay

"They've a little bit of time to play with but 18 months in today's market is no time.

"That's when players will start looking around for other clubs, two years, 18 months left on their contracts."

United held on to beat Tottenham 1-0, and De Gea said: "We won the game against a top team, we controlled the first half but in the second half they had chances.

"I was feeling very well with the first two saves, it was a great game.

"I don't even remember some of the saves so I can't pick a best. The manager brought some happiness, the players are playing well and the team is very strong now.

"This is the real Manchester United."
