Sanchez struggles at Man United
Alexis Sanchez joined Manchester United in January of 2018 from Arsenal for a fee of around £30 million.
Sanchez was one of the best players in the Premier League at Arsenal, scoring 80 and assisting 45 in 166 games.
However, since joining Man United, the Chilean has been very poor.
The second half of last season would see Sanchez score just two Premier League goals for United.
Sanchez's poor form has carried over into this campaign with the 30-year-old scoring just once in the league this season.
Solskjaer believes Sanchez can still be key
However, part of Sanchez's problem may well have been playing under Jose Mourinho who is quite negative.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has since taken over as United boss and they look a much better side, particularly going forward.
As a result, when Sanchez finally features for Solskjaer, we may well see glimpses of the old Alexis Sanchez.
Solskjaer is certainly hoping so as he believes Sanchez can be a real asset at Old Trafford.
"I think he's player that would benefit from the interchanging, the rotation, the movement.
"The more chances you create, the more times you get the ball into the final third, he'll be an asset for us.
"I think he's looking forward to it. He scored quite a few nice goals [in training on Saturday] so that was encouraging."
