Despite making it quite clear that he wanted to join Real Madrid in the summer, Bayern Munich striker, Robert Lewandowski, has admitted he now believes he will end his career with the Bavarians.
Even a change of agent wasn't enough to get the Pole his dream move, and it appears that 'Lewa' has accepted that such a switch will no longer happen.
"It's very possible that I'll stay at Bayern for a long time," he said to Sport Bild.
"I fully identify with the club.
"I feel that all the rumours and problems don't exist anymore, and in my heart I'm with Bayern, 100 percent."
Lewandowski's contract ends in 2021.
"It's an option to finish my career at Bayern," he added.
"A change is not in my head now, in the summer there were problems, but that's over."
