Charlie Telfer’s winner 10 minutes from time gave Morton a 2-1 win at Partick Thistle.
Morton opened the scoring in the ninth minute when a defensive mix-up between James Penrice and Jamie Sneddon allowed Scott Tiffoney to lob the ball into the net for his second goal in two games.
With half an hour to go, Partick equalised. Christie Elliott was the provider for Craig Slater to bend the ball into the net.
But Telfer popped up with the winner 10 minutes from time to secure Morton’s sixth win of the season.
The win helped Morton climb to fifth in the table at the expense of Queen of the South.
