Swansea City vs Wigan Athletic - Swansea wait on winger Routledge
Posted Thursday, December 27, 2018 by PA
Swansea hope Wayne Routledge will be available for the visit of struggling Wigan.
Routledge missed the Boxing Day defeat at home to Aston Villa after complaining of a tight calf.
Swans boss Graham Potter has made a habit of changing the team in recent weeks and Nathan Dyer, Wilfried Bony and Joe Rodon could all return if he decides to rotate again after two successive defeats.
Skipper Leroy Fer and Daniel James, just back from a hamstring injury, are in line for a festive breather.
Callum McManaman could be restored to the Wigan line-up as they seek to arrest an alarming dip in form.
McManaman has started only once in the league this season, but he impressed after coming off the bench in the 2-0 defeat to West Brom on Boxing Day.
Latics hope to have James Vaughan fit again after four straight defeats and only one win in 11 games.
Nick Powell (hamstring), Antonee Robinson (ankle) and midfielder Michael Jacobs (hamstring) remain out.
