Arsenal and Chelsea guaranteed their places in the Europa League last-32 draw after the penultimate round of group games.

The Premier League duo will finish top of their respective groups and are joined in the hat by Scottish giants Celtic, but Rangers are out after defeat to Rapid Vienna.

Celtic progressed despite losing to 2-1 to Red Bull Salzburg, after RB Leipzig could only draw against Rosenborg.

Rangers had to beat Rapid Vienna to reach the knockout stages of the competition, but lost 1-0.

When is the Europa League last-32 draw?

The draw will take place on December 17 in Nyon, Switzerland.

It will start at 12pm GMT and the draw will be streamed on the UEFA website.

Who is in the Europa League last-32 draw?

Ahead of the final round of Europa League group games, these are the teams already in the hat for the first knockout round.

Seeded Teams: Arsenal, Chelsea, Dinamo Zagreb, Dynamo Kiev, Eintracht Frankfurt, Red Bull Salzburg, Zenit St Petersburg, Inter Milan (from the Champions League), Napoli (from the Champions League), Benfica (from the Champions League), Valencia (from the Champions League)

Unseeded Teams: Fenerbahce, Lazio, Sporting Lisbon, Galatasaray (from the Champions League) Shakhtar Donetsk (from the Champions League), Club Brugge (from the Champions League), Viktoria Plzen (from the Champions League)

Qualified (Seeded/Unseeded yet to be determined): Bayer Leverkusen, Real Betis, Zurich

Also in the hat are Celtic, Slavia Prague, Olympiakos, Villarreal, Rapid Vienna, Genk, Malmo, Sevilla, Krasnodar, Rennes and BARE Borisov.

How does the Europa League last-32 draw work?

The draw is split into two sections - seeded teams and unseeded teams.

The seeded teams comprise the 12 group winners plus the four best teams that finished third in their Champions League groups.

The unseeded teams comprise the 12 group runners up plus the remaining four teams that finished third in their Champions League groups.

The seeded teams have the ‘advantage’ of playing the second leg at their home stadium.

Teams from the same group or same country cannot be drawn together in the Round of 32.

When are the Europa League last-32 games?

The first legs will be played on Thursday, February 14 before the reverse fixtures a week later on Thursday, February 21.
