Hull City vs Brentford - Defensive injury concerns for Hull ahead of Brentford clash
Posted Friday, December 14, 2018 by PA
Hull expect to be without defenders Eric Lichaj and Reece Burke for the visit of Brentford in the Sky Bet Championship.
Head coach Nigel Adkins is planning without the injured duo and faces a wait over the fitness of Jordy De Wijs.
The Dutch centre-back was injured during the 2-2 draw against Millwall and Adkins will wait to check on his fitness.
Young defender Brandon Fleming made his debut against Millwall and could continue but Robbie McKenzie is not ready to return.
Brentford will be without Emiliano Marcon and Lewis Macleod who are both set for extended spells out of the side.
The duo will be out with long-term injuries which head coach Thomas Frank believes will take more than a month to heal.
But Frank will have two players ready to start if he needs to freshen things up at the KCOM Stadium.
Julian Jeanvier is back in the Brentford squad and Kamohelo Mokotjo could start after proving his match fitness.
