Pearson set to return for Preston

Preston should have Ben Pearson available to face Millwall but Brandon Barker has been ruled out for the Sky Bet Championship match.
The on-loan Manchester City man was forced off after only 25 minutes of last weekend’s win over Nottingham Forest with a hamstring strain.
Barker’s absence further depletes already thin attacking options, with Callum Robinson and Sean Maguire (both hamstring) and Billy Bodin and Josh Harrop (both knee) ruled out long term.
Key midfielder Pearson has missed the last two matches with a thigh strain but is now fully recovered. However, Josh Earl looks set to miss out again with a similar injury.
Millwall sprang a surprise last weekend by fielding Aiden O’Brien, Lee Gregory and Steve Morison against Hull.
The trio had been all but ruled out earlier in the week along with Tom Elliott before declaring themselves fit. Elliott came on for O’Brien late in the game and all four are again available for the trip to Deepdale.
Forward Tom Bradshaw and midfielder Shaun Williams are Millwall’s only injury absentees.
The Lions, who sit 21st in the Championship table, are still chasing a first away league victory of the season.
