Morecambe skipper Barry Roche could be pushing for a return to the starting line-up as his side host Port Vale at the Globe Arena on Saturday.
The goalkeeper has had a frustrating time after picking up a thigh injury in the Shrimps’ clash with Newport at the end of October.
Summer signing Zak Mills has been ruled out after having a hernia operation to fix a problem he has been battling all season.
On the long term injury list are James Sinclair (ankle), Aaron Wildig (calf) and Andy Fleming (knee).
Port Vale manager Neil Aspin is expected to name a similar side to the one which beat Stoke under-21s 4-0 in the Checkatrade trophy on Tuesday.
Aspin made one change for the Stoke game from the side which played Yeovil in the league on Saturday.
Leon Legge will be unavailable for Port Vale, through illness, but is expected to return to training next week.
James Gibbons is expected to continue in place of Legge, as he did against Stoke.
