AC Milan chief Leonardo makes contact with Chelsea ace Cesc Fabregas

AC Milan have opened talks with the camp of Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

Calciomercato.com says Milan have been in talks with Fabregas' agents as they prepare to swoop for the Spanish midfielder.

He is out of contract in the summer as it looks increasingly likely he'll be shown the exit door at Stamford Bridge.

Milan are now attempting to persuade the 31-year-old on a switch to Serie A when his current deal expires.

Rossoneri football chief Leonardo is a keen admirer of Fabregas, and has been in contact with the Spaniard's intermediaries regarding the move.
